BULLA BULLMASTIFFS

At Bulla Bullmastiffs, it's all about the dog!  All my dogs are my "family" not a pet that is kept in a yard, or kennel, but in the house on the couch!  Now that doesn't mean I believe all my bullies need to live in homes where they are allowed on  the couch, but if you want a guard dog for outside, I'm NOT the breeder for you.  And really if that's what you are looking for I would STRONGLY suggest that a bullmastiff is NOT for you!

Bullmastiffs are from the working group and they most certainly do have guarding instincts, after all they were bred to be the "gamekeepers night dog" they were bred to catch and hold the poachers on the land owners estate, but during the day it was family time!  No gamekeeper wanted a dog in his house that was going to attack his family!

A bully is a strong dog and a big dog!  Bullies can be stubborn and need an owner that knows how to get the best from their dog.  Knowing how to do this does NOT mean being physical...after all, let's face it...you wanna try and move a 140lb. bully when he is NOT happy!?  Believe me he will be stronger than you!  You MUST let them know early, who is the "alpha" dog and never wavier....through love and structure you can accomplishment this!

If you think that you are the owner for a bully and they the family addition for you ...please continue on.....

BEFORE you look at a bullmastiff or any other breed, you need to do your research....please see my "links page".  There; I will offer you links to other breeders, bully rescues, bully associations and suggested reading.  All pups are cute, but they all become adults and they require a lifetime commitment!!!

Bulla NEWS!!!

Groovella is looking for a home

See under avaiable now.

Groovella is Bulla's Gothic Revival.  She is almost black and truly beautiful.  SHe is a Morpheous Morgana baby, born November 2009.  Groovy was the samllest of the girls, but there was something about her so I kept her.  She had her hips penn hipped and rated well, however her bits is not good enough for breeding and she is very small.

Everything else about her is perfect.  She has a lovely body, stunning head and a sweet manner, but again she is small.  At almost 8 months she is aboout 65 pounds.

Groovy is looking for a home that may have a nother dog, and she is good with  children.  However she needs to be ina soft family as she doesn't like to be yelled at or too much noise.  She loves to cuddle and thinks sleeping on top of you is just fine!  She plays mostly with Lucretia now that Rowie has moved to her new home.

Groovy is crate trained and housebroken.  She would be spayed upon leaving to go to her new family.
